  • AYSO coach for 8 years in Region 168. 
  • Coached 16 teams Ages u-6 through u-16. 
  • All-Star Coach in 2003, 2004.
  • Two years as a Matrix Coach for u-11 girls.
  • Hold a CYSA “D” National License
  • Hold an AYSO National Coach license

 

Player Experience:

  • I wasn’t introduced to the sport of soccer until I was and adult and currently play on the SD Wave, a women’s over 30 outdoor soccer team.  I did grow up playing a variety of individual and team sports and understand what it takes to train and to win at a high level of competition.  
  • Started Varsity for Augustana College Volleyball team 1980-1982.
  • Started Varsity for four years at Wheaton North High School in Basketball and Volleyball 1976-1979.
    • All-Conference Player in Volleyball 1978,1979
    • Awarded “Outstanding Scholar/Athlete” senior year of High School
    • Awarded “Athlete of the Year” in Junior High

 

Education/Professional Experience:

  • Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Augustana College in 1983 with a B.A. in Science.
  • Graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Illinois in 1984 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist since 1984.
  • Extensive experience in sports medicine, including experience in treating ankle, knee, hip, back and shoulder injuries in juvenile and adult athletes.  Also have continuing education in running mechanics, and ACL injury rehabilitation.

  • Albion Cup 2005 Semifinalist U11 Silver bracket, record 2-1-1
  • Coronado Cup 2005 Champions U11 Bronze bracket, record: 3-0-1
  • Hotspurs Labor Day 2005 Finalist U11 Silver Bracket, record: 2-1-1
  • Fall Classic Semifinalist U11 Bracket, record: 2-1-0
  • Presidio League:  2nd Place AA-B South bracket, record: 8-2-2
  • Presidio Cup:  Played “up” in AA-A bracket, giving up only one goal the whole tournament to the AA-A South League Champion, Bonita Rebels and tied the Finalist of the AA-A tournament bracket, Carlsbad Lightning 0-0. Record: 1-1-1
  • 2006 State Cup, record: 1-0-2
